Disaster Discovery Center

Share Your Voice—Help Shape the DDC!

We want to make the Disaster Discovery Center as impactful and

engaging as possible, and your feedback plays a big part in that.

Below are a few quick surveys designed to gather insights about

our community’s needs and expectations. By sharing your thoughts,

you’re helping us build a safer, better prepared future for everyone.

Disaster Myth Survey

What’s It About?

Find out if you believe any of the common disaster myths with this 20-question survey.

Why It Matters

TO YOU: Discover the facts about disasters and recommended protective actions that could save your life and prevent injury.

TO US: As part of our feasibility study, it shows funders this lifesaving information is not common knowledge (the average score is only 12/20)—so a discovery center would be a welcome and needed addition to Utah to help people learn and prepare.

Special Bonus

Upon completing the survey, you’ll be emailed the current recommendations and detailed explanations of the answers compiled from 500+ hours of research, which takes about 40 minutes to read.

Time Commitment

Allow 10–15 minutes to answer all 20 questions .
